Lead electrical engineering for rapid‑deployment robotics, driving power, control, motion, and sensing design, development, and validation using advanced power electronics, control algorithms, and embedded systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end electrical design of power, control, motion, and sensing subsystems for robotics platforms.
- Develop and validate power electronics, motor drives, and sensor interfaces to meet performance and safety specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and product teams to integrate electrical solutions into rapid‑deployment robots.
- Define and enforce design standards, documentation, and testing procedures across the engineering team.
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes, tooling, and component selection to accelerate time‑to‑market.
Requirements
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in robotics or related high‑tech industry.
- Deep expertise in power electronics, motor control, sensor integration, and embedded firmware.
- Proven leadership in cross‑functional teams, with strong communication and mentorship skills.
- Experience with rapid prototyping, validation, and compliance testing for industrial robots.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
