Senior leader responsible for defining strategy, designing and delivering enterprise network and data‑center solutions that support critical applications and next‑generation AI/ML workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the multi‑year roadmap for network and data‑center infrastructure that underpins enterprise applications and AI/ML platforms.
- Lead architecture design, capacity planning, and implementation of high‑performance, secure, and resilient network fabrics across on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Partner with AI/ML engineering teams to provision compute, storage, and networking resources optimized for model training and inference workloads.
- Drive automation and orchestration initiatives using scripting (e.g., Python) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools to improve deployment speed and operational efficiency.
- Establish governance, security standards, and best practices for network and data‑center operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in network architecture and data‑center engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record designing and delivering large‑scale, high‑availability networks supporting AI/ML or other compute‑intensive workloads.
- Deep expertise in routing, switching, SDN, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong automation skills using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience influencing cross‑functional teams and executive leadership.
