About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional team to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that optimize pharmacy operations, inventory, and customer experience.
- Own the end‑to‑end data pipeline from ingestion to model serving, ensuring data quality, governance, and scalability on AWS.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and clinical stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable ML models and actionable insights.
- Drive continuous improvement of model performance, monitoring, and retraining processes using best practices in MLOps.
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ML, and AI product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Deep expertise in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and model deployment at scale.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
