Devops Engineer
Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for designing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, building Docker containers, and deploying applications to AKS/GKE clusters while guiding a team of engineers and ensuring zero‑downtime releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for web, API, database, and Windows services.
- Build, containerize, and orchestrate applications with Docker and deploy them to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) using YAML scripts.
- Lead a team of DevOps engineers, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain shared deployment frameworks.
- Create and manage deployment pipelines for both classic applications (Web apps, Windows services, SQL databases) and containerized workloads.
- Implement strategies for zero‑downtime deployments, monitoring, and rollback procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/GKE), and YAML‑based automation.
- Proficiency with SQL databases and Windows service deployment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing DevOps teams and driving best‑practice adoption.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail technology environment.
