About the Role
As a Lead Deployment Engineer, you will be instrumental in guiding complex enterprise deployments from initial ambiguity to successful production. You will collaborate directly with strategic customers and internal teams to understand their business goals, technical limitations, data landscapes, delivery risks, and key success metrics. Your expertise will be crucial in translating these insights into a clear technical strategy that accelerates deployment and ensures value realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Complex Deployments: Oversee and drive intricate enterprise deployments, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to production.
- Solution Design and Development: Design, build, and deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions for complex deployments, including data ingestion/transformation utilities, integrations with ERP, Snowflake, Databricks, APIs, and other external systems, workflow automations, agentic AI deployment extensions, customer-specific data validation/enrichment tools, and lightweight services/applications.
- Enable Agentic AI: Facilitate the deployment and operationalization of Resilinc’s agentic capabilities for various use cases such as disruption intelligence, tariff risk, forced labor compliance, supplier risk, multi-tier mapping, and event-driven workflows, bridging the gap between platform capabilities and customer-specific environments.
- Engineering Discipline: Establish and enforce strong engineering practices for all delivered solutions, encompassing clean code, testing, documentation, security, logging, observability, deployment readiness, operational handoff, and supportability.
- Reduce Friction: Address challenges in demanding deployments where standard approaches are insufficient, helping to unblock go-lives, stabilize early production usage, mitigate escalation risks, and accelerate measurable customer outcomes.
- Product Feedback: Identify recurring patterns across enterprise deployments to distinguish true one-off customizations from broader market needs. Provide clear, actionable recommendations to Product and Engineering to convert these needs into reusable platform capabilities.
- Define Forward-Deployed Engineering: Contribute to the operating model, standards, tooling, reusable templates, engagement rules, and handoff practices for this new function, focusing on creating leverage and scalability.
