About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate Oracle database environments using industry‑standard DevOps tools and practices.
- Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Perform performance analysis, tuning, and capacity planning for production and development databases.
- Architect and manage clustering and high‑availability solutions to meet stringent uptime requirements.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to integrate database changes into CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle database administration and engineering.
- Strong background in DevOps methodologies, automation scripting (e.g., Shell, Python), and configuration management tools.
- Proven expertise in backup/recovery, performance tuning, and clustering technologies (RAC, Data Guard).
- Experience designing and operating databases in highly regulated, high‑throughput environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to lead technical initiatives across cross‑functional teams.
