About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end data science projects, from problem definition to production deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models using Python, SQL, and AWS services to solve complex retail challenges.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data‑driven solutions and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices in model development.
- Implement robust statistical analysis and experimentation frameworks to validate model performance and drive iterative improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a strong portfolio of production‑grade machine learning projects.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Experience with SageMaker, Lambda, or similar services is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of statistical modeling, deep learning architectures, and feature engineering techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex insights to non‑technical audiences.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
