About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable data science solutions that drive business value.
- Own end‑to‑end model lifecycle: data acquisition, feature engineering, model training, validation, and production deployment on AWS.
- Identify high‑impact opportunities across merchandising, supply chain, and customer experience, translating business problems into analytical solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering best practices in experimentation, reproducibility, and model governance.
- Collaborate with data engineering, product, and analytics teams to integrate models into operational workflows and dashboards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of data science experience with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade models.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, Redshift).
- Deep knowledge of machine learning, optimization, computer vision, recommendation, or NLP techniques.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience leading teams and managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.
