About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning models that predict equipment performance and maintenance needs across global operations.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of data scientists and engineers to transform raw sensor and operational data into actionable insights.
- Architect scalable data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, SageMaker) ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to integrate predictive models into real‑time monitoring dashboards and control systems.
- Mentor junior staff, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for model validation, versioning, and reproducibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, with a proven track record in deploying production ML solutions.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS services (SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
- Strong background in statistical modeling, time‑series analysis, and deep learning techniques.
- Experience with data engineering concepts: ETL, data warehousing, and data lake architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex analytics into business‑impactful recommendations.
