About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to solve business problems and improve decision‑making across the organization.
- Lead the development of statistical models, predictive algorithms, and data pipelines, ensuring robustness, scalability, and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations and visualisations.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering best practices in coding, model validation, and documentation.
- Champion a data‑driven culture by presenting findings, conducting workshops, and influencing strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data science, with a strong track record of delivering production‑grade machine‑learning models.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib) to communicate insights effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (SageMaker, EMR, Lambda) for scalable model deployment.
