About the role
Key Responsibilities
Define and enforce enterprise-wide AI and advanced analytics standards, ensuring models are built, validated, and deployed responsibly.
Lead a team of data scientists, providing mentorship, performance management, and career development to build a high‑performing community of practice.
Partner with business and functional leaders to identify AI opportunities, assess risks, and recommend technology and vendor solutions.
Oversee the end‑to‑end model lifecycle, from data acquisition and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, monitoring, and scaling in production.
Establish governance frameworks, including model documentation, bias detection, and compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS for building and deploying machine‑learning models.
Deep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and AI governance best practices.
Strong track record of translating complex analytical insights into strategic business recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
