About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and productionize advanced machine‑learning and optimization models that improve sales and pricing performance.
- Lead the full data science lifecycle—from data extraction and feature engineering to model validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into data‑driven solutions.
- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and analysts, fostering best practices in code quality, reproducibility, and model governance.
- Scale analytical pipelines using cloud services (AWS) and distributed processing frameworks such as Spark.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying machine‑learning models in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data‑engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow).
- Deep knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and communicate complex insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
