Lead Data Scientist - Pursuit Aerospace

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning models to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and improve production efficiency.
• Lead a cross‑functional data science team, mentoring junior analysts and ensuring best practices in model development and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and supply‑chain stakeholders to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Communicate insights and model performance to senior leadership through dashboards, reports, and presentations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Strong background in data engineering, pipeline architecture, and data governance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.
