Lead a data science team to design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and machine‑learning solutions for insurance risk assessment, claims automation, fraud detection, and personalized underwriting on cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end Generative AI pipelines, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation and agentic AI workflows, to improve underwriting, claims processing, and fraud detection.
- Lead a cross‑functional data science team, providing technical mentorship, setting standards, and ensuring delivery of production‑ready models.
- Integrate AI models into cloud‑based production systems (AWS/Azure), managing deployment, monitoring, and continuous performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate insurance domain challenges into data‑driven solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Establish best practices for data governance, model validation, and reproducibility across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in machine learning and Generative AI, with a proven track record of shipping models to production.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain).
- Deep understanding of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts.
- Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) using containers, serverless, or managed ML services.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor data scientists and drive collaborative, results‑focused teams.
