Data Scientist
Lead a multidisciplinary analytics team to design, develop, and deploy advanced machine‑learning models and data pipelines that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency using Python, SQL, AWS, and visualization tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data science strategy, aligning projects with clinical and operational goals.
- Design, build, and productionize machine‑learning models for predictive analytics, risk stratification, and resource optimization.
- Lead a team of data scientists and analysts, providing mentorship, code reviews, and best‑practice guidance.
- Collaborate with clinicians, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate domain problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS for data ingestion, processing, and model deployment.
- Communicate insights through interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and other BI tools.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Computer Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data science, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade machine‑learning solutions in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS (SageMaker, Redshift, Lambda, EC2).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and present complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
