Lead a team of data scientists to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and machine‑learning solutions using Python, AWS, and modern statistical methods.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the data science strategy, aligning projects with business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Design, build, and productionize machine‑learning models and analytical pipelines on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering best practices in coding, experimentation, and model validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, product, and domain experts—to translate data insights into actionable solutions.
- Lead the creation of clear visualizations and dashboards that communicate complex findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data science or machine learning, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade models.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its data‑science ecosystem (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and data preprocessing techniques.
- Experience deploying solutions on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3) or comparable cloud environments.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
