Lead a team of data professionals to design and deliver scalable analytics and machine‑learning solutions for banking, payments, and card services, using Python, advanced SQL, and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end data science and data engineering pipelines for financial services products.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions and drive adoption.
- Design, develop, and productionize machine‑learning models for fraud detection, risk scoring, and customer segmentation.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and scalability by leveraging cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and best‑in‑class tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Python and advanced SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proven track record delivering machine‑learning solutions in banking, payments, or card domains.
- Strong background in data engineering concepts, including ETL design, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing data science or engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
