About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics solutions for modernizing legacy claims processing workflows.
- Develop and deploy machine‑learning and natural‑language‑processing models to extract, classify, and validate embedded business rules.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data pipelines and analytical frameworks.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance on best practices, model evaluation, and reproducibility.
- Monitor model performance in production, conduct root‑cause analysis, and iterate improvements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and NLP.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong background in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Experience building end‑to‑end data pipelines and deploying models in a cloud environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
