About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines on Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and data quality.
- Design and orchestrate complex workflows using Apache Airflow, integrating sources from Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into efficient data models and ETL processes.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across cloud storage platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement of the data engineering stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building data pipelines in cloud environments, with deep expertise in Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3 for data ingestion and storage.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to lead cross‑functional technical initiatives.
