Data Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure, driving modern data pipelines, AI integration, and analytics across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Design robust data models and implement ETL/ELT processes to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into data workflows.
- Leverage Azure DevOps for CI/CD, version control, and automated deployment of data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data assets.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering best practices in data engineering.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Azure data engineering, including Synapse, Data Lake, and Fabric.
- Strong SQL skills and expertise in data modelling.
- Hands‑on experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with Power BI, API integrations, and Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or Copilot-enabled initiatives is a plus.
