Lead - Data Center of Excellence - L'Oreal

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the worldwide Data CoE, aligning workload with R&I data needs and prioritising initiatives across all domains.
• Ensure operational excellence by defining and enforcing best practices, metrics, and governance frameworks for data assets.
• Manage vendor partners, evaluating performance, negotiating contracts, and fostering strong relationships to deliver high‑quality data services.
• Champion stakeholder engagement, translating business requirements into actionable data solutions and communicating value to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the CoE at the forefront of data innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or related fields with a proven track record of leading large, cross‑functional teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of data governance, quality, and security best practices.
• Experience managing external vendors and complex projects in a global environment.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for driving innovation through data.
