Software Engineer
Lead Data Architecture role driving enterprise data strategy, designing scalable data models, and orchestrating ETL pipelines using Python, Spark, and cloud services (AWS/GCP).
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain enterprise data platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Design and implement robust data models and schemas for relational and big‑data environments.
- Lead end‑to‑end ETL development using Python, Spark, and cloud data services.
- Collaborate with data scientists, BI teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality, and metadata standards across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong background in relational and big‑data technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
- Hands‑on experience with data modeling, ETL design, and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior architects.
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
