Lead Data Architect driving enterprise data strategy, designing scalable data pipelines, and ensuring high‑quality data models across cloud platforms using SQL, NoSQL, ETL, and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end data solutions, from ingestion to analytics, across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Design and maintain scalable data models, ensuring consistency, performance, and compliance with security standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in developing ETL pipelines, leveraging SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data governance frameworks.
- Mentor junior architects and data engineers, fostering best practices in data quality, documentation, and version control.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong background in relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud data services (AWS Redshift, S3, BigQuery, GCS).
- Hands‑on experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, normalization, and dimensional design.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
