About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve large‑scale data platforms that span cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Define and enforce data governance, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle policies to support compliance and data quality.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, mentoring developers and architects to deliver high‑quality, maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs, prioritizing initiatives and managing trade‑offs.
- Champion best practices in API design, event‑driven integration, and data pipeline automation.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning architecture for complex enterprise programmes.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Strong background in data governance, metadata management, and lifecycle processes.
- Hands‑on expertise with event‑driven patterns, APIs, and scalable integration.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of leading cross‑functional teams.
