Software Engineer
Lead Quantitative Data Developer focused on Snowflake, building robust data foundations, AI pipelines, and analytics for trade execution and liquidity detection using SQL, Python, and advanced data engineering techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable Snowflake data models for TradeSmart, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
- Develop and orchestrate end‑to‑end ETL pipelines that ingest, transform, and enrich market and execution data.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to build AI/ML pipelines that detect trading signals and assess execution quality.
- Lead technical architecture decisions, mentor junior developers, and set coding standards across the data team.
- Optimize query performance, monitor data quality, and implement automated testing and monitoring solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Snowflake and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, trade execution, and liquidity concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead technical initiatives.
