Security Engineer
Lead Cybersecurity Architect driving enterprise‑wide security strategy, designing resilient architectures, and guiding threat modeling and risk assessment across cloud and on‑prem environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve secure system designs that meet NIST, ISO, and government security requirements.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for large‑scale, multi‑cloud deployments.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to embed security controls early in the SDLC.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, conduct tabletop exercises, and oversee post‑incident analysis.
- Mentor and coach security teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and security awareness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture and engineering.
- Deep knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks.
- Proficiency with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure design principles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex security concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with threat modeling tools, risk assessment frameworks, and incident response.
