About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust, real‑time control software for STATCOM and SVC systems using C++ and Python.
- Lead simulation and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing to validate control algorithms and ensure reliability.
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, fostering best practices in embedded development and power system controls.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and customers to define requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions on schedule.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, code quality, and documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in control software development for power electronics or power systems.
- Deep knowledge of STATCOM, SVC, and related reactive compensation technologies.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded and simulation environments.
- Strong background in real‑time operating systems, RTOS, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
