Software Engineer
Lead engineer responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing control and protection systems for electrical infrastructure, guiding technical teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and PLC/SCADA platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of control and protection systems for high‑voltage electrical projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools to create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and 3‑D models.
- Program, configure, and commission PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA interfaces to achieve reliable system operation.
- Perform system analysis, fault studies, and protection coordination to meet IEC and IEEE standards.
- Troubleshoot field issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and deliver corrective actions to improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and manage technical documentation throughout project life‑cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience in control and protection system design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley).
- Strong knowledge of power system protection principles, relay settings, and SCADA/HMI integration.
- Hands‑on experience with protection coordination studies and compliance to IEC/IEEE standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and team‑leadership skills.
