Software Architect
Lead the design and implementation of cloud‑native pharma solutions, driving architecture decisions across AWS and Azure while ensuring regulatory compliance and high‑performance microservices delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end‑to‑end cloud architecture for pharmaceutical applications, leveraging AWS and Azure services.
- Design, develop, and guide implementation of containerized microservices using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Establish DevOps pipelines, automation, and CI/CD practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining strict compliance with pharma regulations.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and security teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, and enforce best practices for performance, reliability, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on cloud architecture and large‑scale distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure, including networking, storage, serverless, and security services.
- Proven experience designing container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and Docker‑based deployments.
- Strong background in microservices design, API management, and DevOps automation (CI/CD, IaC).
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) and ability to embed compliance into cloud solutions.
