Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable cloud infrastructure for a data‑centric retail analytics platform, leveraging AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines to support real‑time data pipelines and machine learning workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure, and cost‑efficient AWS environments for data science, insights, and media services.
- Implement IaC using Terraform, ensuring repeatable and versioned infrastructure deployments.
- Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads, including data pipelines and ML inference services.
- Lead CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and platform teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive continuous improvement of cloud operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, primarily on AWS.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with data pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Prefect).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling and automated testing.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
