Lead Business Systems Consultant - Core Data - Investment Management Corporation of Ontario

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions, including data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models and dashboards.
• Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data assets.
• Drive continuous improvement of data processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, business systems, or analytics within a financial services context.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or similar).
• Strong understanding of business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
