Data Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end data solutions on Azure, driving architecture, development, and mentorship while leveraging Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, SQL and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and optimize large‑scale data pipelines on Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
- Design data models and storage solutions that support analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning workloads.
- Lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best‑practice standards.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Implement robust ETL processes, data validation, and monitoring to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new Azure services and integrating automation and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Deep expertise with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Python (or Scala) for data transformation and orchestration.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and ETL best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, mentoring engineers and managing complex data projects.
