Lead AI/ML Data Scientist responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine‑learning models and data pipelines, guiding a team of scientists, and delivering predictive solutions on cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine‑learning solutions, from data ingestion to model deployment, for aerospace and defense applications.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, providing technical mentorship and driving best‑practice standards.
- Collaborate with product owners and domain experts to translate business problems into scalable AI/ML models.
- Develop, train, and optimize deep‑learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Deploy models on cloud infrastructure (AWS) and ensure robust monitoring, performance tuning, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade models.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS) and containerization/orchestration tools for model deployment.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and data pipeline construction using SQL or similar data‑query languages.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence cross‑functional teams and present technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
