About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and enforce secure coding standards and secure SDLC practices across multiple product teams.
- Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing initiatives for new and existing applications.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated vulnerability scanning and remediation.
- Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to design and maintain secure AWS environments.
- Mentor developers on secure coding techniques and conduct security training sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application security, with a strong background in secure software development.
- Proficiency with OWASP Top 10, threat modeling frameworks, and penetration testing tools.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, etc.) and DevSecOps tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, AWS Security Specialty) are a plus.
