Software Engineer
Lead the design, development, and operation of a scalable analytics platform using AWS, Azure, and Apache Airflow, while driving CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain a cloud‑native analytics platform leveraging AWS services, Azure resources, and Apache Airflow for data orchestration.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of analytics workloads.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, observability, and incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing data platforms on AWS and Azure, with deep knowledge of services such as S3, Redshift, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse.
- Strong expertise in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling.
- Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Solid programming skills in Python (or comparable language) and experience with infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering production‑grade analytics solutions.
