Data Engineer
Lead the design and evolution of a healthcare analytics ecosystem, driving data integration, advanced analytics, and visual reporting using Python, SQL, AWS, Spark, and Tableau.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of clinical and operational data.
- Design and implement analytical models and dashboards that enable data‑driven decision making for care teams and leadership.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance and fostering best practices in data quality, security, and governance.
- Collaborate with product, clinical, and business stakeholders to translate healthcare requirements into robust analytics solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., cloud services, big‑data frameworks) to continuously improve the analytics platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building data pipelines and analytics solutions, preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modeling, and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and big‑data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
- Proven ability to create interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of leading technical teams and delivering end‑to‑end analytics products.
