About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for national security missions.
- Own end‑to‑end architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems.
- Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical specifications and prototypes.
- Drive technical execution, code reviews, and best‑practice adoption across the team.
- Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a strong portfolio of production‑grade models.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Demonstrated leadership in architecting complex AI systems and managing cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in security‑critical or defense‑related projects is a plus.
