Lead AI Engineer responsible for designing and scaling AI models, including generative AI and LLMs, within a cloud‑native SaaS platform for clinical research, leveraging Python, deep‑learning frameworks, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy large‑scale generative AI and LLM solutions that power the AuroraPrime clinical research platform.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Design and implement robust, production‑grade pipelines using Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and integrate them with cloud services (AWS, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with product, data science, and life‑science experts to translate research requirements into scalable AI models.
- Establish best practices for model monitoring, performance optimization, and security compliance in a regulated environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying deep‑learning models, preferably with generative AI or LLMs.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker) for scalable AI services.
- Proven track record leading technical teams and delivering AI‑driven SaaS products.
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, or related regulated domains is a plus.
