About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate Mitsubishi laser machines to produce accurate cuts and engravings based on design files.
- Translate CAD/CAM drawings into machine code, ensuring optimal tool paths and material usage.
- Collaborate with production staff to troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues.
- Maintain and calibrate laser equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Document production parameters and update job records for quality control and traceability.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming Mitsubishi laser systems or similar industrial laser equipment.
- Strong background in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming principles.
- Knowledge of G‑Code and ability to modify tool paths for complex geometries.
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
