Software Engineer
Lead the design, analysis, and validation of aircraft landing gear systems using advanced FEA tools and CAD, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards while managing cross‑functional project deliverables.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate landing gear structural models using Finite Element Analysis to meet performance and safety criteria.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate new materials and technologies into gear assemblies.
- Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and certification reports for regulatory approvals.
- Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for gear-related issues during development and production.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience with FEA software (e.g., ANSYS) and CAD tools (CATIA).
- Strong knowledge of materials science and structural analysis principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Experience in aircraft certification processes is a plus.
