Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and administration of servers, networks, databases, cloud platforms, and data‑center environments, delivering high‑impact solutions to complex infrastructure challenges.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents across server, network, storage, and cloud environments, acting as the primary escalation point.
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise‑grade infrastructure components, including virtualization platforms, database servers, and email/file‑share services.
- Lead data‑center operations, overseeing hardware provisioning, capacity planning, and disaster‑recovery implementations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and optimize cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and ensure seamless integration with on‑premises resources.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures, knowledge‑base articles, and automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce mean‑time‑to‑repair.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in server, network, and database administration within enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), and cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to manage data‑center infrastructure, including rack‑mount hardware, power, cooling, and cabling.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) and configuration management.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of mentoring junior engineers.
