L2 Infrastructure & Deployment Support Engineer responsible for maintaining and optimizing large‑scale banking applications, Oracle ecosystems, and cloud environments. Requires strong Linux, scripting, and CI/CD expertise to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for infrastructure and deployment of enterprise banking applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and troubleshoot Oracle database environments, including performance tuning and patching.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment across on‑prem and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to resolve incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor system health, capacity, and security, generating regular reports and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure and deployment support for banking or financial services.
- Proficient with Linux administration, shell scripting, and automation tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle databases and related tooling.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
