About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and triage IT incidents received through phone, email, and chat, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
- Diagnose and resolve issues on Windows and Linux workstations, including software installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, including password resets and group membership updates.
- Utilize remote support tools to troubleshoot client devices and provide step‑by‑step guidance.
- Document all support activities in the ticketing system, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records.
- Collaborate with senior support staff and other IT teams to resolve complex problems and improve support processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) preferred.
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, including command‑line tools.
- Experience with Active Directory administration and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
