Software Engineer
Kubernetes Administrator responsible for managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, automating .NET application deployments with Helm, and supporting Appian platform layers using CI/CD pipelines and container technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor Kubernetes pods, services, and ingress controllers hosting Appian stateful workloads and .NET applications.
- Assist development teams in packaging .NET applications (Windows or Linux containers) and deploying them via Helm charts within established CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Monitor the health and connectivity of self‑managed Appian platform layers, including Engines, Data Server, Kafka/Zookeeper, and related services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize deployment processes, improve reliability, and implement best practices for containerized workloads.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of Kubernetes clusters.
Requirements
- Proven experience administering Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Helm chart creation and management.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience deploying and managing .NET applications in containerized environments.
- Familiarity with Appian platform components and related infrastructure (Kafka, Zookeeper).
