This role is an opportunity for an experienced telecom software professional to contribute to the development and support of enterprise billing solutions. You will work on designing, configuring, and enhancing applications within a complex billing ecosystem. The position involves collaborating with technical and business teams to deliver reliable solutions that support critical telecom operations. You will leverage your expertise in Kenan Billing, Oracle technologies, integrations, and system development to solve complex challenges. The role offers exposure to end-to-end software delivery, from requirements analysis to deployment and production support. You will join a remote environment where technical expertise, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Accountabilities:

The Kenan Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting telecom billing applications while ensuring high-quality technical delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications within the Kenan Billing platform.
• Support Kenan Billing processes, products, and service configurations to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrations and interfaces between Kenan and external systems.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, scripts, and database objects.
• Participate in software design, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Support operational activities related to billing processes, system performance, and application stability.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in telecom billing platforms, software development, and enterprise application support. Required qualifications and skills include:

• 5+ years of experience working with Kenan Billing Systems and telecom billing solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with Kenan FX versions 2.0, 3.0, 4.x, or 5.x, including Amdocs, Comverse, or Arbor BP environments.
• Strong knowledge of Kenan API-TS, including DOM and Hashmap concepts.
• Experience with Java, Perl, UNIX/Linux, Shell Scripting, and JBOSS.
• Strong database development skills with Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Experience working with XML, XSD, JSON, and system integrations.
• Solid understanding of Kenan configuration, operational processes, and core billing workflows.
