About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end ticket lifecycle for Level‑2 escalations, from initial diagnosis to resolution and documentation.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on Windows Server, Linux, and virtualized infrastructure (VMware) to resolve complex performance, connectivity, and configuration issues.
- Administer Active Directory, group policies, and user permissions, ensuring security and compliance across client environments.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, improve efficiency, and support repeatable solutions.
- Identify recurring problems, create knowledge‑base articles, and recommend process improvements to reduce future incidents.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and command‑line troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Experience with VMware virtualization (vSphere/ESXi) and basic hypervisor management.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and clear documentation of technical solutions.
