Junior Systems Engineer supporting C2ISR programs for U‑2, E‑8C JSTARS, and AF DCGS, providing cradle‑to‑grave lifecycle, supply, and maintenance engineering within a defense aerospace environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support for U‑2, E‑8C JSTARS, AF DCGS, and Integrated Broadcast Service programs throughout their lifecycle.
- Assist in configuration management, materiel tracking, and supply chain activities to ensure sustained operational readiness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on acquisition, sustainment, and maintenance engineering tasks.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and performance reports for C2ISR systems.
- Support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for hardware and software issues in fielded platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of C2ISR concepts and defense aerospace systems.
- Experience or coursework in configuration management, lifecycle support, or logistics engineering.
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as CAD, modeling software, and requirements management systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
