About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of RACF security domains on z/OS platforms.
- Support batch job creation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for mission‑critical workloads.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement security policies, access controls, and audit procedures.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of IBM z/OS operating system and mainframe concepts.
- Familiarity with RACF or similar security frameworks.
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash, TSO/ISPF) and batch job management.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills in German and English.
