Software Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C# and C++ modules and plugins supporting Air Force and DoD simulation platforms.
- Implement DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Write and integrate scripting APIs to extend functionality of simulation applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define software architecture, data models, and database schemas.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high‑quality, secure code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in C# and C++ with solid understanding of object‑oriented principles.
- Experience or academic exposure to DevOps/DevSecOps tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD, containerization).
- Ability to write and work with scripting languages for API integration.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn defense‑related simulation technologies.
