Devops Engineer
Entry‑level Platform & DevOps Engineer responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring high availability using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. Strong scripting skills in Python and Terraform are essential.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, including EC2, RDS, S3, and IAM, with IaC via Terraform.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring proper scaling and resilience.
- Monitor system performance and availability using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, and troubleshoot incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to adopt best practices for code quality, security, and deployment automation.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) and basic knowledge of Terraform.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward automation.
- Good communication skills in German and English.
